Our Story
Ready Set Italia is an online Italian exam preparation company based in Torino, Italy. We help English speakers pass official Italian exams - including language exams for citizenship and integration, and the Italian driving license theory test. Founded in 2025, we're here because there was no high-quality exam prep taught in English for people building lives in Italy.
Why Ready Set Italia Exists
When I moved to Italy in 2024 with my family, I had a clear goal: pass the B1 exam to apply for citizenship. I tried online language courses, then went to expensive in-person language schools where, after spending nearly 1500€, I was told I was still at an A1 level. I was shocked.

​With my background as a nationally board-certified ESL teacher and a graduate degree in education, I realized the problem wasn't me. It was the method. I needed a strategy, not just language instruction. So I built a practical, self-paced system taught in English, focused on what was required to pass. It worked.
I quickly learned the exam was just the beginning. The bureaucracy that followed was a maze of confusing websites and changing laws. And I wasn't alone - friends and neighbors kept failing exams not because they lacked knowledge, but because of tricky phrasing and technical jargon that didn't exist in any language course.

That's why Ready Set Italia exists. To decode the exams, cut through the bureaucracy, and give you a plan that actually works - all taught in English by people who passed the same tests you're taking.
