Ready Set Italia - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ready Set Italia! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of and access to all products, courses, and digital content provided by Ready Set Italia. By purchasing or enrolling in any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Products and Services

Ready Set Italia offers online educational programs and digital downloads for language and exam preparation. All materials are provided for educational purposes only and may be updated at any time.

 

Affiliations: We are not affiliated with the University of Siena, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), or any official exam administrator. Purchasing a product does not guarantee a passing exam score.

 

Patente B Theory Preparation: The Patente B program is an educational tool designed to assist users in preparing for the theoretical driving exam.

  • Not a Driving School: Ready Set Italia is not a licensed "Autoscuola" (Driving School). This course does not grant a "Foglio Rosa" (Pink Slip), does not count toward mandatory driving hours, and does not register you for the official exam.

  • Exam Simulation: While our practice questions are modeled after the official Ministry database, the visual interface and exact phrasing on the official exam day may vary. This course provides exam preparation strategy and simulation, not access to the official government testing portal.

  • Highway Code: While we strive to keep content current, you are responsible for verifying that materials align with the current Codice della Strada (Highway Code).

 

Citizenship Guide and Informational Content: The "Application for Italian Citizenship by Marriage Guide" PDF is an informational product designed to assist users in understanding the general application process.

  • No Legal Advice: The guide is not a legal service and does not constitute legal advice. It is provided for educational purposes only.

  • Bureaucracy Disclaimer: Immigration laws, consulate requirements, and bureaucratic procedures are subject to frequent change. This guide reflects the procedure at the time of its last update. Ready Set Italia is not responsible for applications rejected due to changes in legislation or individual consulate discretion.

 

Service Availability: We strive to provide 24/7 access to our platform, but we cannot guarantee that the website will be available at all times. Ready Set Italia is not liable for any downtime caused by technical issues, internet outages, third-party hosting providers (e.g., WiX), or scheduled maintenance.

3. Enrollment and Access

Access to our course materials and digital downloads is personal and non-transferable.

  • You must not share your login credentials or distribute any of our materials without our express written permission.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our products or platform if you violate these terms.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Access Terms

All payments are processed securely through WiX. We offer three primary payment structures:

A. Monthly Subscriptions (Recurring)

  • Renewal: Your purchase grants you a recurring subscription which will automatically renew on a monthly basis until you cancel.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time to stop future billing. Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

B. Fixed-Term Access (One-Time Purchase)

  • Term: Your purchase grants you access to the specific course (e.g., A2, B1, or Patente B) for a fixed period of 6 months.

  • Expiration: Access automatically expires at the end of the 6-month period. This is a non-recurring payment.

C. Digital Downloads (One-Time Purchase)

  • Product: The Citizenship Guide (PDF) is a one-time purchase.

  • Delivery: Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, your access to the purchased product may be suspended until the payment is successfully resolved.

 

5. Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal

General Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds once access to the content has been granted.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers): If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you generally have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. However, there is a specific exception for digital content:

Waiver of Withdrawal Right: By purchasing a digital product (including courses and PDF downloads) that grants you immediate access, you are giving your explicit consent to begin the performance of the contract immediately. You acknowledge that by granting this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal. This means you cannot withdraw and receive a refund after you have gained access to the content.

Refunds for Faulty Products: Your statutory rights regarding faulty goods are not affected. If any of our digital content is technically defective (e.g., a corrupted file that cannot be opened), please contact us immediately for a remedy.

6. Cancellation of Subscriptions

  • How to Cancel: You can cancel your monthly subscription directly through your account dashboard on our website.

  • Effect of Cancellation: When you cancel, your subscription will not be renewed at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the course content until the end of that billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial subscription periods.

7. Student Responsibilities

Exam Registration: You are solely responsible for registering for any official exam and paying any related exam fees. For the Patente B, you are responsible for registering your application with the Motorizzazione Civile (as a "Privatista") or through an authorized agency to obtain your Foglio Rosa and book your exam dates. Ready Set Italia cannot book exams on your behalf.

Study Efforts: Your study results are dependent on your individual effort, consistency, and engagement with the course materials.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials, including but not limited to the course content, videos, quizzes, text, graphics, and digital downloads, are the intellectual property of Ready Set Italia. You may not copy, modify, resell, or redistribute any materials without our explicit written permission. Any violation of our intellectual property rights may result in legal action.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect personal data only to enable your access to our products, process payments, and communicate with you about your enrollment. Please see our separate Privacy Policy for a detailed explanation of how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Violations and Termination

Any violation of these Terms and Conditions - including but not limited to sharing access credentials, misusing our intellectual property, or filing false chargeback claims - may result in the immediate suspension or permanent removal of your account and access to the course or platform, without a refund. We reserve the right to take legal action in cases of serious violations, such as fraud or piracy.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Torino (Turin), Italy.

12. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
